Traits and Alignment

✧・゚:You've selected her Traits and Alignment... Very wise of you. Identify her personal boundaries and inclinations in practice...✧・゚:
Type: ENFJ-A
(The Protagonist)Extraverted: 82%
Intuitive: 65%
Feeling: 70%
Judging: 67%
Assertive: 63%Alignment: Chaotic Good
Passionate: Aalish is hardly ever the type of person to be bored unless she is doing nothing. In which case, even if she is doing nothing, she will turn that nothing into something. She takes great pleasure in pursuing her many hobbies with great interest and intrigue and will often encourage others to join her. She finds being alone quite dull, so she always seeks exploration, and she is very curious about the cultures of other races, allowing her to be social and active.
Impulsive: Suiting Aalish’s color, she is much more excitable than some of her older counterparts. Being the youngest of the wizards, her youthfulness makes itself known in the way she carries herself and makes decisions. She sometimes thrusts herself into situations rashly, prompting her equivalents to insist she settle or perhaps rethink her plan of action. She also is much more confrontational than those in her company.
Reliable: Very true to her cause and quite stubborn in nature, Aalish always strives to be someone people can depend on. Even if difficult to do so, Aalish will attempt to see any responsibilities and promises she has made through, and similarly, will not promise to something she has no faith in. Letting down those she loves and cares about and seeing the disappointment in their eyes puts the young wizard under deep emotional turmoil.
Emotional: Aalish feels her emotions quite strongly and lends them to her causes, giving herself fully. Being in the realm as long as she has, she has watched many of her friends come and go, many having gone due to her inability to save them because of the gravity of their injuries or their choices. Due to this, when she expresses her loyalty, it is fervent, and when she expresses resistance to a loved one making a decision, she expresses it wholly. Under extreme emotional duress, or moments of extreme confidence and power, Aalish’s eyes will go gold, and an aura of heat will radiate from her body. Its intensity varies on the degree of emotional pain or relief.
Pyromaniacal: Aalish has eagerly shown the tendency to start fires. She seems to focus well under these conditions and seems to be calmer under the company of a flame. However, her proclivity for this is minuscule, as the most she has set ablaze are smalls like twigs and paper. The idea of causing grand devastation by fire is not appealing to Aalish, and makes her quite distressed, as she is aware of the pain and destruction fire can cause. She has a deep respect for the element and the life it can bring but does not like using the element to take life. She will only do so under conditions such as war, or in the defense of life.

Origins

✧・゚:You've selected her Portrayal Info... Curious as to how she came to be? You've come to the right place... stay for a spell, maybe if you are lucky, you will catch the Mother Phoenix being reborn...✧・゚:
In the beginning, there was Eä; the Universe. And within Eä was the supreme being, Eru Ilúvatar. In the quest for an ideal world, Eru created Arda, known as Earth. Though Arda, in its emptiness and coldness, was lacking. Eru Ilúvatar felt the need to fill it, use it— improve his image of the world. In order to do this, Eru created the Ainur. Molded from his thought, the Ainur served as gods and goddesses of angelic form striving for the creation of the world with their maker. Through the Ainur, 15 Valar were chosen. These 15 were the most powerful of the Ainur who aided in molding Middle-earth as it is known. Additionally, to serve the Ainur, Maiar were created. The Maiar were lesser gods, primordial beings, who aided the Valar in creating Middle-earth. One of these Maiar was Aalish, later known as Aalish the Red.As a Maia in Valinor, Aalish's name was Ruivissë, and she served her elemental Vala for centuries. Though lesser than her Valar authorities, Aalish held extreme power, as did her other Maiar equals. Upon their birth, with the combined efforts of the Valar and Maiar, Middle-earth came to exist on Arda with all it is known for having.Existing as a Maia, Aalish lived in harmony on Valinor, watching as the existence of man, elf, dwarf, and other beings civilized Middle-earth. All was relatively peaceful for a time, until Mairon, the 15th of the Valar, defected. Defecting from good, Mairon joined Melkor, Eru's wicked equivalent and a former Vala. Wanting to shape Arda to his own image, Melkor was banished by Eru, and had since sought vengeance for such. With Mairon by his side, Melkor's wish was able to slowly come to fruition.Officially renaming himself Sauron, along with claiming other guises, Mairon was able to serve multiple roles towards Melkor's immoral cause. After the downfalls of his higher-ups, Sauron eventually became Melkor’s strongest lieutenant, and he strove for a higher goal in his conquering of Middle-earth.Through the manipulation of the Elven race and under the disguise of Annatar, a benevolent entity, Sauron created multiple rings called the Rings of Power. 19 total, the rings were granted to the races of elves, dwarves, and men. All were made with the intention of slowly guiding the bearer to evil, unbeknownst to the bearers. Sauron failed to mention not only this but also the fact that he created an additional ring in secret. This ring was able to control and rule all the other Rings of Power. This ring was given the name "The One Ring."Around the forging of The One Ring and the discovery of its manipulative powers, Sauron's power was heightening, and Middle-earth was in danger of falling victim. In order to counter this, the Valar decided to send some of their strongest Maiar to Middle-earth as agents against evil. Aalish was selected as one of these agents. Able to take any form she wished, after living within Valinor for so long, Aalish chose to descend to Middle-earth as a wizard, as did her five other counterparts.Together, the six of them formed the Istari, Order of Wizards, personally selected to be sent to Middle-earth. There were likely other Maiar sent beyond to other realms, in this the young wizard was not sure, but she knew that she and her counterparts were directly involved with Eru Ilúvatar’s grand creation.Saruman the White. The two Blue Wizards, who served in the North. Gandalf the Gray. Aalish the Red. and Radagast the Brown.Together, the six were tasked with combating Sauron's grip of fear, tyranny, and oppression over Middle-earth. The six of them descended down onto Middle-earth, took semi-divine, ageless, physical forms.Unfortunately, Aalish’s memory did not remain intact in its entirety, as she descended down upon Middle-earth amidst the fiery blaze of rock and ash of a meteor, but new memories would form as she lived her lifetimes on Middle-earth.The Red recognized she was sent by the Valar with a mission to perform, therefore understanding that she was not human, or at least, human in the most basic sense. She failed, however, to remember much of her life in Valinor as a Maia, as that life was so long ago. As time passed though, she quickly settled and became content with the life she had since lived on Middle-earth, and was often reminded, through the joys Middle-earth had to offer, how she never regretted taking human form.As time passed, the goal to stop Sauron became difficult as he conquered realm after realm within Middle-earth. However, the end of the Second Age provided some much-needed relief and victory.Nearing the end of the Second Age, The One Ring, under Sauron's grip, was lost to him by a Númenórean. King of Gondor, Isildur cut the Ring from Sauron's finger and effectively ended the dark lord's reign as his physical form was killed sans the lack of the ring... but the One Ring was created with all of Sauron's hatred and spite. It effectively aided Sauron in living on, a part of him; a sliver of his soul. And when it came time to dispose of the ring, the Númenórean king was simply too fallible to the ring's compulsions. The One Ring, manipulating Isildur finely, led the Númenórean king to his own death at the hand of Orcs after he dropped the ring in the Anduin river... and with that, the ring became lost, floating to the bottom of the river. Lost and forgotten, the ring was buried away in the sift, sand, and soil of the Anduin, and effectively in the history and eventual lore of Middle-earth. History became legend. Legend became myth. And for two and a half thousand years, the ring passed out of all knowledge… until a certain hobbit named Smeagol came upon it.Smeagol, finding The One Ring by chance while fishing with his cousin, Déagol, soon fell victim to the ring as well. Killing his own cousin for the ring out of jealousy and possession, and becoming consumed by its power, Smeagol spent the rest of his years transforming into a choking, slimy, skinny, gray-paled version of his former self named Gollum. He lost himself so deeply to the ring, choking out the word Gollum was all he knew, as he had forgotten his own name. Being the new ring-bearer for the next 400 years, Gollum would hold onto it faithfully and possessively, corruption overwhelming him as he hid in the mountains... until it was soon Gollum's own turn to lose the ring to another. Another by the name of Bilbo Baggins, from Bag End.After her descent, Aalish primarily resided in Rivendell and Mirkwood, having been placed there to aid Elven relations with other beings despite not adopting an Elvish form. She, however, craved the exploration of other areas other than Rivendell, and in her youthful nature, would often escape and leave Rivendell, despite scoldings from Lord Elrond and Thranduil. Funny how she was the semi-divine being and she was the one being scolded. She found it amusing when Elrond scolded her, as did he, and with that, they grew deep respect and friendship for each other. The wizard's relationship with King Thranduil however, was more so strained.Aalish became fascinated with the lives of those living in Middle-earth, and pleaded with Elrond to show her more; that is when she wasn’t being a wise wizard and sharing information pertinent to Sauron’s downfall. Her favorite locations formed a collective; the Shire in the region of Eriador, the Iron Hills and Blue Mountains of Erebor, and typically anywhere humans lived. Oh, how she loved the results of Ilúvatar's creation, they were so complex, not at all black and white, always gray— like Gandalf! And she found that endearing. As time has passed through her many years of existence, she’s pushed herself towards many adventures and taken up many hobbies and roles, perhaps recklessly or impulsively, but she’s lived for it. Oh, mahal, how she's lived for it! And with this does it never cease, her quest with her equals, for the ultimate location (and destruction) of the One Ring, bringing an ultimate peace to Middle-earth.

Headcanons

✧・゚:You've selected her Headcanon Info... Dear wanderer, you do know that you could simply speak to her if you want to learn about her, yes? Digging into someone's character via their memories isn't very tact, now is it?...✧・゚:
Upon descent onto Middle-earth, Aalish was sent to Rivendell to act as a liaison between the elves and other races. She became close to Elrond, viewing him as a mentor for the Elvish world. The two grew close as friends as she spent time in Rivendell, Aalish also growing close to Celebrian and Arwen, Elrond's wife and daughter.
Aalish's favorites of her wizard equals are Gandalf and Radagast, and she visits them both often. She dislikes Saruman though, (not because of his eventual betrayal of them), but because he is ignorant and arrogant, believing himself higher than his fellow wizards. When in his presence, she will subtly insult him, earning a light hit with the staff from Gandalf or Elrond and encouragement to be more polite.
Aalish is left-handed.
When not dressed in her classic red robe, Aalish will be dressed in warm tones; oranges, reds, browns, golds. She'll often wear tunic-gowns in Rivendell, but when in Erebor, Esgaroth, or elsewhere in Middle-earth, she sticks to wearing leggings, bodices, and corsets.
After many adventures in the Mirkwood, Aalish has found herself encountered with many spiders... and she does not like them. She isn't a fan of spiders at all, and will encourage others to kill them for her so she does not have to. If under pressure to do so though, she will just shoot fireballs and spells, hoping something sticks.
Aalish loves chocolate and always carries a bar or a bag in her nearest pocket or in her horse's satchel.
Aalish's favorite wine is white wine, although she can settle for red if it's sweet enough.
Wanting to deeply understand creatures considered "evil" and the capabilities of their morality, Aalish conducts research, questioning creatures like dragons, and their reasonings for siding with Sauron (or otherwise).
Aalish's relationship with King Thanduil is strained because she remains as a constant reminder of dragon fire. With her willingness to consider dragons as potential allies if possible, Thranduil views her as someone not fully committed to the elven cause, despite her loyalty to not only the elves, but also men and dwarves.
